About

I qualified to teach on the British Wheel of Yoga certified training programme at Triyoga London with Jean Hall and Mimi Kuo Deemer. I continued to mentor trainee teachers under the guidance of Mimi and Jean and spent two years assisting senior teacher Louise Grime in her weekly classes. I trained in Yoga for BackCare with Yoga teacher and osteopath Anji Gopal. I have a degree in History from Oxford University and a PGCE in adult literacy from the Institute of Education. Prior to teaching I worked in television researching and producing history documentaries.

Testimonials

‘I have been attending Anna’s yoga classes for some years now. Anna is a wonderful teacher, not only sensitive to the needs of older people, or those who have not done any yoga before, but also to individual needs, as she was to my needs after my hip replacement operation some months ago. She creates a lovely warm and relaxed atmosphere in her classes. I come away from each class feeling considerably better than I did before the class.’

Anna has a calm, kind and confident manner and a good sense of humour, and I always left sessions feeling restored and light. She clearly loves teaching and is very good at it. Highly recommended.

I attended Anna’s yoga classes for several months last year and found them extremely relaxing, friendly and supportive.  They were also fun!  I was never patronised or made to feel self-conscious about my slight physical awkwardness and would recommend Anna’s classes to beginners such as myself as well as to anyone seeking to refresh their yoga skills.
